So I've always been very open about breastfeeding with Elizabeth.
I don't think there is anything shameful about it and want to encourage her to see it as a normal thing. I can't tell you how many kids get confused when you tell them your baby doesn't drink from a bottle.
It's not that I have a problem with bottle feeding, far from it, I just don't like negative stigmas around something that is totally normal.
Anyway, that's another post...onto the funnies.
I was nursing Evie and Elizabeth came by and sat down with me. She had a stuff baby Eeyore.
She looked at me and lifted her shirt. She then put Eeyore on her belly button.
"Look at me Mommy, I'm feeding Eeyore" said Elizabeth.
My husband saw this and chuckled. "Does Eeyore like Mommy-milk too?" he asked her.
"No, he doesn't like Mommy-milk." said Elizabeth.
"So he likes Elizabeth-milk?" I asked.
"N-O-O-O. He likes Elizabeth JUICE!" she said.
Wow, I have a child that produces juice for donkeys...and that was even more weird to type than you think. Maybe I shouldn't be so open with the nursing...
Oh and if you are wondering, Elizabeth Juice takes like peaches. At least that's what she told me. ;)
